Did you mind it when Jimmy Carter did it? Hell, he was even a "nucular"
engineer in the Navy.

It might have had it registered. I was more interested in girls, Star
Wars and the chess team at the time. I had a human systems and functions
class once and it bugged me to no end when the prof used the
pronunciation. If you're a scientist, engineer or just a pol with the
finger on the button I think you should really make the attempt to get the
nomenclature right so you don't sound like an idiot.

pretty much negates your ability to do much with your 3rd listed interest.
