I don't want to get involved in this thread, but I will have to say that
the
truth of the matter lies MUCH closer in K9's post than it does in yours
Howard. I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just saying you don't know all or
many of the facts. I wasn't involved with the clubs in NYC, but I know
hundreds that were, and a handful that heard directly from the higher-ups
in
the NYPD that made the raids that the Governor and Mayors friend Wendeen
had
EVERYTHING to do with the raids.

There was a point in time where I thought Wendeen and I were friends,
after
seeing her use and abuse people who are my REAL friends and talking to
people who knew her intimately "back in the day" in NYC including some
well
known pros, who I will not "out" on this post, Wendeen used her influence
with the powerful in the City and State to have the clubs shut down so she
wouldn't have to face up to the club owners she owed money to.

When she is on her meds, she is friendly and a decent writer (which, by
the
way is another error in your report, she was doing freelance writing for
poker periodicals during the raids, and also employed by Mark and Tina
Naplitano at PokerPages. When I experienced 3 or 4 phone calls from her
(always in the middle of the night) when she was off of her medication(s).
They were vile, filthy, tirades accusing everyone in poker of being
"after"
her, and that was why she had one of the Governors protective details
traveling the Northeast with her.

Her book "Poker Dame" will NEVER be published, unless she self-publishes,
which when she's on her meds and flush, she may have a chance to do, but
she
has abused friendships for MANY years now. Some of the nicest and most
prosperous people in the poker industry have allowed her to overstay her
welcome in their HOMES here in Las Vegas, and finally had to cut her off.

I've always wished I could like Wendeen, but I know too many people she's
FUCKED OVER, even recently a friends real estate (rental) agent once her
long time Vegas benefactors finally put her out on her ass.

This was probably a stupid thing to post, but every word of it is true.
I'm
sure she'll be on the phone threatening to sue me within 24 hours (if she
has my new phone number), and I'm sure she'll say she always hated me and
I'm the devil , or whatever, but the truth will always prevail.
Unfortunately for Wendeen, I don't think she even knows what the truth
really is.
