What about freedom of speech? As Chomsky said "If we don't believe in
freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at
all".

Or there's Voltaire's classic "I disapprove of what you say, but I will
defend to the death your right to say it".

Why the need to resort to violence?

But he's French, and, despite the fact that they saved you arse in the war
of independence, and gave you the statue of liberty, you don't like them.

i do see a pattern. you keep talking about *** that happened two hundred
years ago. do you have to reflect so far in the past to find a meaningful
british contribution to the planet?
