First of all, I will mention the following. Your word is worthless to
me. Your money is not, that's why I will ensure I get it.
You offered some terms. Here are some terms I offer, but first must
know what amount you will allow yourself to lose? I will play no games
with $25-$50 unless both parties start with 100K on the table.
We start with less, we can play $15-$25 blinds. I propose 5 days of
play consisting of 8 hours each day, with a 10 minute break each hour.
Whether I have the money, or don't have the money isn't an issue.
People would line up around the block to give me money to play you, if
I needed it.
The dollar is almost worthless in many European countries now. The
Euro has almost doubled. The pound is at a long time high, plus flying
from Rurope to the US and back is far cheaper than flying from the US
to Europe and back.
You may never have been in the US, but most people who have been in
both places will tell you most Indian Casinos are normally far larger
than any of the casino's you have in Europe.
It's suggested I fly to Florida. That's almost the same as flying from
London to NY. I'm not going anywhere or running a sprint. A challenge
is a Decathalon in my mind. Be a little ridiculous to possibly play
one hand and have the game over.
Winning $10,000 with $15-$25 blind is not hard in heads-up play.
Matter of hours normally, if that. That's why, we plan a five day
event or three day event.
Obviously, it be far more economical to play in the US with the dollar
being so weak. Decent hotels and motels are available in the $100
range. Car rentals are cheap. In London, everything is 4-5 times more
expensive and the money is what counts.
I have posted in many threads where I lost 20-30 buyins in a matter of
hours, only to get them back most of the time and more. This is a
style many WCPers have.
I will put no limit on my losses to you and will play with you as long
as you can maintain at least 200 BB on the table. This is one thing I
would negotiate to the end, a person must maintain 200BBs on the table
at all times.
We have a forteiture placed if a person doesn't not abide by the
agreement made. I saw what your response to the agreement was a few
weeks ago, when we were supposed to pay the next day.
Obviously, I would like as many games as possible in the mix. It's
like being called the best athlete in the world. Because you can run
100 meters means nothing, what else can you play?
It's highly unlikely you agree to playing all games or even have a
random drawing on which games we play from put a bunch of different
games in a hat and pulling a game out for the day.
Obviously, you are a one game wonder (if that). I saw how badly you
played PLO8. It's possible I could be talked into playing PLH for the
entire period, but impossible I would let you dictate the game we play
for the entire period.
If you wanted to name your game and I name mine, this can be arranged.
To make things VERY FAIR, we'd deal 20 hands of one games, then 20
hands of the other. A player would have to maintain $5,000 on the
table at all times, should he lose a pot.
You do undertand the concept of you naming your game and I naming
mine? Say you pick NLH, then I pick NL 5 card. Next 20 hands, you pick
NLH, then I pick NL stud 8, razz, stud, Omaha, lowball.
This means the following. I don't want to play NLH. But, I will have
to play. You may not want to play the other games:), but you'll have
to play. Money will be put up on arrival at the table if one of us
deviates from set rules.
I propose the winner cover the expenses.
Waiting for the counteroffer. I also propose Razz0's original choice
of venue for Barry Greenstein and myself, an Indian Casino in Oregon
about as big as any casino's in London.
Remember one thing. What is the most popular gambling game in US
casino's? Slot machines are by far. The reason, it doesn't take any
brains to win. That's why I put NLH on the bottom of the list. I have
absolutely NO DOUBT you'd be helpless as you were in the PLO8 in the
games I name. In NLH, I also know I'm best, but the game is the
Cadillac of Poker. I want to play the Rolls Royce, Bently, Ferrari or
the Lamborgini of poker.

Agree to all your terms except one. I propose that we only play NL
Holdem. 25/50, 100K bankroll each, with at least 200BB on the table
at any one time. Now you are a self-prefessed WCP in all forms of
poker, and claim to be the best in NLH, whereas you called me a sucker
in the only game that I think I play reasonably well. Surely you
wouldn't be worried about playing a sucker whom you vastly out-skilled
in NL holdem only?
Dont say that I am dictating terms. I have agreed to all yours except
one, and I really see no reason for you to be worried, if you are as
good as you claim.
Time to put up or shut up, Russ.
Lastly, on your masterful display of awsome skills in PLO8, I must
confessed that I haven't yet reached the level of stalling to get into
the money at a 20 bucks MTT. Well done, good sir!
