Ok, I guess I am just too computer-stupid. How the f does he know your

lol, in the spirit of playing along, I'll keep up the charade. Vonage is
one of the newer "internet telephone" companies. They provide a VOIP
(voice over IP) phone service. They give me a phone "router" (and I use
that term loosely because it isn't a router in the truest sense), I plug
any analog phone into it, and my phone service is provided over the
internet. I can call any number, receive calls from any number
(unfortunately), free long distance, caller ID/call waiting/3 way calling
and a whole bunch of other crap, and it's $25/month.

As far as how he got my number, it's pretty easy for anyone who has my
last name, which I've posted to RGP in the past and is available to anyone
interested enough to ask. Just don't call me at 2am please.

Btw, Morphy, I am using Linux Mint on my main computer now and I like
it. Very user(dummy)-friendly and there are only a couple windows
programs I cannot run, and I haven't given up on those yet. I never did
the beryll thingy you were telling me about.

I have a virtual machine with Ubuntu desktop on it but haven't done
anything with it. I almost went to it on my laptop after I ditched Vista
and the video driver for XP that I had was crashing the machine every time
I unplugged it from AC power. I haven't tried Beryl either, but maybe one
of these days when I'm not busy making fun of idiots on a poker table or
getting stalked by some psycho on the internet I'll get around to it.
