When he makes _policy_ mistakes it is often because of appeasing

it is his doing.

The Iraq war was the right thing to do

It was, of course, only justifiable if done correctly. Even then,
people who believe in internation law, which doesn't include me, are
going to carp.

. Not deploying nearly enough
U.S./Coalition ground troops and locking up surrendering Iraq soldiers
in P.O.W. camps at the very beginning, was a mistake.

The failure to put enough boots on the ground was the biggest error.

A mistake made by
considering/anticipating liberal media criticism of the number of troops
exposed, and conditions for the P.O.W.s etc. (see the Gitmo bull*** and
multiply it by 1000)

The P.O.Ws would not have had to be kept under bad conditions. No one
considered them terrorists. Our Army has good doctrine and experience
in dealing with non-punitive detainment of POW. If it were done
correctly, these soldiers could have been held for a short period,
retrained and used to help the new regime keep order. But the press
would still have raised hell. So we dismantled the Iraqui Army and
left a large number of men who had experience under arms unemployed
and resentful. Second biggest error.

You can't liberate until you "secure the fucking area".

Obviously.

Another mistake was to allow the media broad access; they shouldn't be
permitted on the from lines. The media should get their info from the
military at designated briefings.

The Bushes don't see The Left as the enemy of America, or worse, they
don't care.

Ronald Reagan would have made none of these mistakes. He didn't even
tell the media about the Genada invasion, lol, god luv 'im.

Bush gets full credit for his Supreme Court appointments, however, even
though he tried to throw it to the liberals with Harriet Meyers. I mean,
he did back down and do the right thing in  the end. You can't expect
too much, or rely too much on a Bush; who have some kind of hunger to do
nice things for The Left.
