I knew he didn't have a J, so the only other realistic hand that beats
me was 10-something. Honestly, at the table I thought he had some
sort of busted draw, 6,7 or 8,9 or maybe A,5, etc., or a small pp that
he was getting stubborn with. Yes, I know I'm giving him hands I
beat, but by the river that was really what I figured. Obviously the
wrong read there ;) But, as usual, the turn is where I put myself in
the position of having to make that decision, so that's the problem
point.
If he's thinking at level 1, is he betting anything you can beat here?
With maniacs you gotta figure out how to take their money. Betting into
them and putting them on hands you can beat isn't that way.
