I agree with you. It was indefensible that we agreed to let the Russians
"take" Berlin. I had friends that lived there at the time. George

certainly had the same thoughts.


Well, you did it again. Although that is a good question as to WHY we let
the
Russians do that, I think what I was pointing out was that the Germans
were
ready to surrender to us, BUT, instead they fought TOOTH AND NAIL against
the
Russians, even though their loss was a foregone conclusion.

I agree with you again. Explain again why doing it again was a bad thing.
