I never watched this "Dog" the bounty hunter show because it just seemed

this guy's telephone conversation, I have two questions:

First, who taped the conversation and gave it to the tabloids? Since he
was
talking to his son, does this mean the kid taped the conversation and
then
sold it to the tabloids?

Second, did the son realize he was destroying his father's career and how
much did he get paid for stabbing his old man in the back?

Although I think "Dog's" language was very inappropriate, it was a
private
telephone conversation. He wasn't on a radio show or making a public
broadcast. In any case, the guy's TV career is over.

It has been reported that his son sold the tape to a tabloid for a
large sum of money. The problem with the recording to me is not so
much that he was using the N word, but that he admitted to using on a
regular (or semi-regular) basis. If it's such a risk if she is
around, why not just stop using the word completely? It's seems a
small price to pay so your son can be happily married. It's not like
he has to use the N word to be a better bounty hunter.

So to me he probably could recover from this if it was spoken in a
private conversation and he did not appear to be his usual self. But
he admitted that he uses the word enough that people around him could
easily record it if they paid attention.

By the way, I'm shocked that his son would do this to him. I just
don't see how what the son is doing to his family (not just the Dad)
could be worth whatever compensation he got.

Well, I guess you could say you reap what you sow. If the kid sells out his
own father for money it says something about his values, character and sense
of loyalty.

I don't like racism or the "N" because it goes against American values. It
also gives people an excuse to play the victim and rationalize their own
violent, criminal actions. "Dog" may be a bounty hunter but he's also a TV
actor and knows how things work. If you're a white person and use the "N"
word, your career is basically over. You can make a list of examples. In
fact, professional racists like the rev'uns Jackson and Sharpton have turned
it in to multi-million dollar personal businesses.

"Dog" should also have known that racism has a double standard in America.
I can't recall a single black celebrity who has ever been kicked off
television or radio for making offensive comments about white people. In
fact, I thought the movie, "White Men Can't Jump" exploited a racial
stereotype.
