Actually they drop you into a vat of liquid nitrogen after of course
they remove the water from your cells and replace it with a glycerol-
based chemical mixture called a cryoprotectant -- a sort of human
antifreeze. The goal is to protect the organs and tissues from forming
ice crystals at extremely low temperatures. This process, called
vitrification (deep cooling without freezing), puts the cells into a
state of suspended animation.

It all boils down to something similar to Pascals Wager apparently, if that is
the best argument that can be made, then how could anyone justify spending
150,000.00 that could really help their family out, unless they are as rich as
Bill Gates.

Even if there is a chance that scientists can bring people back someday in the
future, that could be hundreds of years off, if ever, and who is to say that
this is the correct procedure for maintaining the bodies? It all just seems
pretty remote.

True is what you say an I totally agree, but look at how far we have
come in a 100 years, 100 years ago we were crapping in outhouses
outside and had never herd of lights much less computers and
phones, .....and what about the blind people and the people that cant
walk or talk right? And the people that are all messed up either
physically or mentally. I personally dont think god ment for anyone
to suffer, I firmly believe he made us smart for a reason, he could of
give us the brain of a dinosaur and made us stupid with one track
minds, but he didnt.

I say that to say this, there working on the Technology (nanobots) as
we speak, that one day real soon (within 100 years I'd say) will
repair our bodys at th Cellular Level. I think that is what is going
to make cryonics possible.

And on the procedure theyre using..................There have been
countless recollections of people being submerged in cold water for
extended periods of time,,,,, and they were revived without
incident... But as you said this Technology is not Guaranteed to
work, but for me personally...The only other alternative is a
definate...
