These new idiots are to young to remember the last war of words I
with your family which we settled by me kicking the snot out of your
brother headsup on Pokerstars and making him cry uncle.
After the first year of Internet poker, Brian as Rob999, was the
biggest fish in its young history. Not that he lost a lot by today's
standards. In those days the stakes were much smaller and, more
importantly, it was hard to get much money on line. The biggest games
on Paradise were 10/20 and there were daily and monthly limits on how
much you could deposit - even though credit cards were accepted. I
remember everyone waiting for the first of the month for Rob999 to
reload. He would sit down and the game would fill. A day or so later
he was broke.
I recall the match with Pat O' - PBOCop. The two had taunted each
other for months but it looked like a match would never really come
off despite both claiming they wanted to play. I am not even sure if
PokerStars was real money at this time but they put up $50 or so for a
freeroll heads-up match of limit hold 'em. I watched from the rail.
It was Rob999's finest hour. Despite abuse from the rail and some
whining about the cards by PBO, he kept focus. Rob won and clearly
outplayed PBO.
I remember a moment when I felt sorry for Rob. He was losing as usual
at Paradise's 10/20 O8 and being abused. Midway through the mutual
abuse, Paradise support revoked his chat - I think PBO received an E-
Mail from support right at that point but, anyway, it was obvious that
this was true because it was the first time Rob999 ever shut up. Many
continued the abuse and, because he could not fight back, I felt a bit
sorry for him. Of course, when he got his chat back, those feelings
went away. It probably also is true that Rob999 was the biggest jerk
in the history of Internet poker in year one.
Yes, Susan, Brian is also *Katie*. Katie certainly does not lose all
the time like Rob999 did but he is at best mediocre. This identity
also is a huge jerk.

Wow, you have a good memory. I couldn't even remember the name he played
under. Those Omaha/8 games were fantastic back then. I beat those games
good for quite awhile and at times that was because Brian was in the game.
I resisted reporting his torturous chat many times because I didnt want
to run him off, but eventually it just became too much. He was running
off other bad players.
Maybe it's "Californiapokermike" in disguise? :)

I must have missed something, I am not sure what this means.
