Ok, I was watching the local Fox news this morning (don't ask why...it is
inane...it was just on). They were doing a story on three sisters who had
been pregnant together and had gone into labor and had the babies all the
same day. While the anchor (Steve Edwards) was reading the story, the
local weather idiot (who was once, maybe still is, an NFL pregame show
airhead) Jillian Barberi loudly interjected (interrupting Edwards) "They
all have the same father!" Edwards continues, "the three sisters, from
Provo Utah..."
I'll leave it to you to figure out why her comment may have been
offensive.
Was there something else to the story that would make you think the three
sisters did not have the same father? That would seem to be irrelevant, but
hardly offensive.
Uh, no, she was talking about the BABIES all having the same father. She
apologized profusely too.
