Hello All,
Just feel like relaying a story here that has happened before, but
this one just happened yesterday and is fresh in my mind.
So I am walking back from a session of poker at Greektown and they
have a building between the casino and the structure you have to walk
through then you have to traverse a covered walkway bridge that leeds
from said building to the parking garage.
Yesterday I got a good parking spot on the first floor and the bridge
is on the 3rd floor. So I am walking down the one flight to hit the
first floor, on my phone with my GF (who had played in the 50.-15.
tourney earlier that day and left about an hour and a half before I
did) I turn the corner to the last little flight and see a dude
standing right by the door. I glance at him briefly thinking maybe he
is just waiting on someone. Now this is an enclosed stairwell and
there usually is not that much traffic going down or comming up on
this stairwell because the first floor is 99% of the time filled with
employees etc. So he kind of backs up enough for me to open the door
and I try to open the door and he put his foot down to stop me from
opening it all the way. I FINALLY look at his face and HOLYSHIT!
This guy looked like he just stepped out of a zombie flick I swer to
god. He had a shiny, clear kind of bubbly spit all around his mouth
and his eyes were all red and hazy.
He says "I NEED .60 cents. I
THIS is the line that made me think of PP
keep looking at him and am thinking to myself (holy crap this guy is
going to knife me- forgive me PeePee, but later I thought of you lol)
I grab the door and force it open with his foot still on the bottom
and think I broke his foot because he lets out a little scream and
falls into a heap I jam the door on him forcing him between the door
and the wall. I walk out of the stairwell and thank god see some cars
comming around the turn and proceed to walk to my car glancing back
and the guy opens the door with a little hobble and starts screaming
how I need to respect Nido or something like that. I didnt feel
completely safe until I was in my car.
Now I live in DETROIT and have had similair problems before and have
at least 3-4 guys asking me for money on my way to my car from the
casino and MOST of the time I just walk by them without saying
anything or just shaking my head side to side and they give me no more
problems, but we were in an enclosed are, noone around, and in an area
that typically will have VERY little foot traffic.
Sorry for the anti climatic ending I am sure it would have made for
better reading if he pulled a gun, I took it and knocked him out or
something, but was something that happened just yesterday, was fresh
in my mind and thought would make for interesting discussion.
I am sure many of you have similair storie, but does anyone feel like
sharing?
Ended up 52.00 playing the stupid 3-6LHE game for 5 hours of play.

Sure don't know what I'm going for, but I'm gonna go for it for sure!
