Basically. Unfortunately, for the Pugster, his >reputation proceeded him.
R U Joking? I played against Puggy a year or two before his death in
the $20-40 Omaha8 game at Bellagio. Puggy trash talked me more than
any player in my life even though I sat there quietly while he blew
off repeated rebuys. He then proceeded to get into a fight with a new
dealer before she even dealt a hand. Finally, he got into a fight
with the floor who 86'd him. Then, before he'd leave, he got into a
secondary fight with the floor, the dealer, and the entire table over
whether or not he was quitting the game on his own or he was getting
86'd. I enjoyed his antics and being trashed talked by a champion so
I finally chimed in and backed him up.
It was a very memorable experience that I enjoyed, but there's one
thing I know for sure and that was he was still earning that
reputation right before he croaked.
As everyone knows, I can tilt people and I've seen the best tilt
artists in the world in L.A., but puggy was one non-stop chinwagging
tiltartist for all ages.
