Sam swore way more than Puggy. Puggy didn't cuss much and was never, to my
knowledge, intoxicated. Not so with Sam.

When I met Puggy, and we were close, his days of infamy were over.
Basically. Unfortunately, for the Pugster, his reputation proceeded him.
