Internet Explorer IS the standard. That's why the only way you can make
sure a webpage displays the way the webpage designer intended is to view it
with Internet Explorer. IE still has about 70% of the market. That means
every webpage designer makes damn sure his pages display properly in
Internet Explorer. You think people who design webpages give a *** what
their pages look like in Firefox, Opera, or any other browser??? The
designers of other browsers have to make sure they conform to the de facto
standard set by IE.

Get a clue, man. No one gives a *** what you geek wannabees think about
anything. Whatever Microsoft does, in programming languages, browsers or
anything else becomes the defacto standard. Then you assholes using the
primitive Linux operating system wail and moan about Microsoft imposing
their standards. Linux is a POS and total joke. If you think otherwise,
you are clueless. Maybe you missed the tests showing Microsoft Server 2003
blows Linux out of the water on performance benchmarks. You Linux geeks are
all losers who cut yourself off from the best software available because you
think you are smarter than everyone else and are jealous of the success of
Microsoft.

I can do things with Windows XP that you could never do with Linux in your
wildest dreams. And I can do them with a few mouse clicks, while you idiots
have to write scripts or type into a command line. Yeah, you guys are at
the cutting edge of innovation in operating systems.

Microsoft imposes their standards because they dominate the software market.
They dominate the market because most people believe Microsoft products are
the best. Whether that is true or not is irrelevant.

I use exclusively Microsoft products for everything. Not because they are
necessarily the best, but because they set the standard.
