I've been playing poker online since April 2004 and have been fortunate
to supplement my income with poker winnings. I have dabbled in LHE up
to 10/20, NLHE up to 1/2, and PLO8 up to 2/4. I've had success in all
of these levels, but play exclusively low-blind PLO8 games b/c I find
that there is much less variance for me in these games (I multitable,
usually 4 tables). I started out averaging $800/month in 2004,
increased my win to $1,000/month in 2005, and am on a tear so far in
2005, averaging $3,000/month playing 15 hours a week, or $50/hour.
Cool. If I could have stayed in 2005 like you, I'd still only be 39...
Oops, I meant that I've been on a tear in 2006 (not 2005). I've
definitely been running well.
