I think I said "totally unscientific". I asked rational adults a simple

I was surprised by the high percentage that said yes.

How about doing a followup question on that same forum?
That would help satisfy my curiosity.

A woman who remembered being groped by someone as a child could
truthfully answer yes to the question.

A woman who had been repeatedly molested by someone could also answer
yes to that question.

I have no idea how you could phrase a question to find that out, but
it seems to me that those two cases are very different.

Andrea Dvorkin was a true Feminazi.
She said that damn near any case of sex between a male and a female
was rape.

Not that the average women would subscribe to that idiocy, but it sure
planted the idea in a whole lot of women that rape could be defined as
anything they said it was.

I know that we aren't talking about rape here, but it does define a
clear case of molestation as opposed to some vaguely defined case of
sexual molestation.

Given that the human animal is instinctively driven towards
reproduction, it shouldn't be a surprise to see it manifested in
strange and mysterious ways.

On the one hand, I am as disturbed over child abuse as the next guy.

On the other hand, children think they are being abused when told to
turn off the TV and go do their homework.
