Tom, Tom, Tom ... when you reduce the discussion to the obvious lowest

one can tell me, when I ask them why (if they believe that gas prices are
part of a conspiracy) the "group" stops at 2.50 a gallon instead of 2.51?
No one would notice and the profits would be enormous.)

Better yet - they could charge nine tenths of a cent extra on every
gallon, and their customers would never even notice!

(For those of you reading this outside the USA, you may not be aware
that gas stations in this country actually do sell gas with 9/10 of a
cent as part of the price. This was a lot more profitable when gas was
$0.29.9 per gallon. When I bought gas the other day it cost me
$3.29.9, more than ten times as much the price when I started driving.

For those outside the USA, fire those goofs that are charging you $6 a liter
(or whatever) for a dollar and a half a gallon gas ... ... we are working on
our goofs here, but Bob keeps electing them.
