I was pointing out (as
I think mo_charles has been) that the position that private wealth out
to be largely redistributed/spent by the government via taxation is
inconsistent with a plan to funnel wealth to private charity, thus
avoiding government redistribution/spending. Personally, I find the
funding of private charity (assuming said charity is on the up-and-up)
to be superior....it's just inconsistent with the insistence that the
rest of us do things via government funding.

Who has said that they don't want you to donate all of your assets to charity?

I guess it never occured to you that there are ways other than
charitable contribution (as good at that is) that the general
population (including the poor) benefits from private circulation of
money.
