How many of these stereotypes do you encounter in a typical B&M game?
Woman Player- most likely to play any ace, suited cards, and try to draw
to every straight and flush possible. Seldom will raise.
True of many women, excluding my wife who will smile and laugh while
she sinks her teeth into your stack. She loves it when people
stereotype her.
Asian Man- aggressive, deceptive players who play a wide range of hands.
Also true of every Asian woman I've ever played with
Black Person-emotional, argumentative players who are the easiest to
tilt.
By and large, no argument. As with all stereotypes, there are
exceptions.
Elderly man- rocks and calling stations who will only raise with the
absolute nuts.
Yep, yep, yep. Sort of like that Neal Shewlman geezer I keep hearing
about....
Young college kids- aggressive, testosterone laden players who hate
limit games because they are "too boring".
And bust out early before you can get a piece of them because they
can't afford to play for more than 30 minutes.
