Way off-base assessment of Edwards. He is the real deal. I think his
experience fo going through a presential campaign would only make him more
formidable if he runs again.

He has a firm grasp of large issues and can articulate his thoughts to a
group of college professors or a group of factory workers with equal
clarity. He also has the statesman bearing in that he does not get rattled
by aggressive or confrontational questioners, he handles them with aplomb.

The only concern that I see is a *perceived* lack of maturity for the job
because he looks so young. But I don't think he's that much younger than
Bush (?)
