"William Coleman"
<snip interesting opinion for the pay off>
"But increasingly I've come to believe that if done right, health care in
America could be dramatically better with true single-payer coverage"
"if done right" the mantra of all folks who want Uncle Sam to take care of
them.
I liked the part where he thought that the doctors that make more than he
does would lose money, but that would not break his heart. One result of
any socialization of medicine would be that bureaucrats would be making the
determination of how much he makes and all the other doctors. I am sure
that he will be ecstatic at the results. These same folks will decide when
and where you will get whatever it is that you think you need. A great
system will provide "fee" health care to everyone ... everyone will get the
same treatment ... if they think you really do not need whatever it is that
you think you need ... well, so be it. Try it ... you'll love it. Of
course, you can never go home again.
