America's criminal justice system has been bent so far in favor of the
criminals that it's a damn miracle if any victim ever receives justice. I
just read a CNN report on Michael Morales. This scum bag raped a 17 year
old girl then beat her to death in 1981. It's been 25 years since he killed
this girl and he's still sitting on death row. Where the hell is the
justice for the girl or her family? Now his lawyers are claiming that he
should not be executed because lethal injection causes "undue pain" before
death. Jesus wept! What about the pain of the girl he bludgeoned to death?
Plus, some dim-witted judge has ruled that the state must give Morales'
lawyers full personal information on all of the prison guards who are
involved in carrying out executions. The prison guards objected because it
puts them and their families at risk. However, this didn't bother the judge
because he said the lawyers are supposed to promise not to share the
information or leak it to the press. America has lost it's mind.

While I firmly believe that this is the greatest nation to live in(nod to
Canuckland), I also believe that our system of justice and our SOCIETY in
general is eroding ever faster into an abyss from which we will not
escape. Too many people are way to concerned about the rights of
crimminals without any consideration for the crime they have been
CONVICTED of. CONVICTED. By a jury of their peers in accordance with our
laws, they were innocent until proven guilty BEYOND as reasonable doubt
and sent to jail. Their "rights" should be SEVERELY restricted due to the
fact that they broke the law.
WHO can explain to the families of a murder victim, why they are arguing
for the rights of a person who KILLED another human being in a heinous
matter? These crimminals have clogged our courts with lawsuits that WE the
taxpayers pay for, to allow them most, if not ALL, of the same things that
people who have commited no crime whatsoever have to pay for. Not to
mention the fact that we provide them clothes, food, medical, vision,
dental, education, etc and yet turn our back on people who are homeless,
families who have done nothing wrong other than being the VICTIM of
downsizing. They can't pay the rent and the families are out in the street.
It's NONSENSE.
Do I have the answer for it? No. But I know what is right and I know what
is wrong.
This is WRONG.
Being in prision should not prevent you from having rights. But to say
that a person who has been convicted should have the same rights as a
person who has NOT been convicted, is just NOT RIGHT.
