Re: Tournament question, would you call?

To be clear, I did not play this hand well, that is obvious. The preflop
raise came after I called the $50. When it got back to me I had to call
$100 more with $650 in the pot. My call would trigger the flop as the
person after was the raiser. At this point I knew it was bad but I called
with the 6.5 to 1 odds. After the flop (<6d 7d Qh>) UTG went all in and I
was next to act. his all in was $840 and I called. I knew instantly that I
should have either folded or jammed but instead I chose to continue
playing like a major Donkey and I called. There were still 3 people to
act. Each one of them pushed all in, including the chip leader at the
table, meaning to see the turn I needed to put my final 2600 + chips in. I
chose not to. figuring I only had a 5 and 10 that were not dianonds as
outs. Well, I folded and the cards were flipped up. There was a set of
Queens (This was the preflop raiser, the guy who made it $150 and the
player acting after me.), A pair of 9s, one of which was a diamond, and 2
people help 7 6 giving them 2 pair. The Turn was the 10d and the river was
something I don't recall except to say it wasn't a diamond. I would have
hit a straight and won, as it was the Queens took the hand. I then went
into a "I am such a crappy player, what am I doing" rage that it did not
take long for me to donk off the rest of the chips and quit playing for
the day. I just wondered if you all thought it was an easy call. Thanks.

Early in a MTT and you have 3600 in chips. Blinds are still cheap, $25/50.
You are in a hand with 8/9 of hearts. You are second to act. The table
chip leader is also in the hand (7600 in chips). 3 other players in the
hand for a total of 5. Flop comes <6d 7d Qh>. There is $750 in the pot
when the flop comes and the UTG goes all in for $840. You call the the all
in and the 3 remaining behind you all call all in, including the chip
leader at the table. After your call you still have around 2700 in chips.
The pot is close to 10,000 now giving you around 4 to 1. Do you call for
all of your chips?

Thanks,

What am I doing in EP with 98h?
What am I doing flat calling the all-in?
Who jammed that I now have to call again?
Why am I spewing chips?

yeah, I probably call at that point, pray to hit my 6 outer (because
diamonds kill me with 4 people calling all-ins), pray it holds after I hit
my 6 outer, or I go do something else because I'm clearly not playing well
that day.
