PoMoFo,

I think the main thrust of your post is not to gamble higher than you
feel comfortable. It doesn't matter if it is limit, no-limit, or any
other form of gambling. If you can't put the money on the table when
you know it is the correct move, you are playing too high and need to
move down in limits or otherwise limit your exposure till you feel
comfortable.
