The skill in poker is over the "long run", not the short run. There is
tremeandous luck to poker in the short run. The skill is overcoming this
huge luck factor over time. And yes, any idjut can win a tourney. But
few are able to show a profit for the entire year, or for the length of
their entire poker career. That is why many "pros" eventually go broke.
Being a "pro" is not all it is cracked up to be. Lot's of roller coaster
rides. In todays super large fields, you will see very few repeat winners
in the major events. How long has it been since Phil Hel"mouth" won an
event.....lol.

my last 4000, he calls with pocket 3s. BAM hits a 3 on the river and
Im out in 13th or so. TOp 7 ITM, i was chip leader 20 mins earlier.

Guy eventually wins the tourney after this whole thing. He was the
most arrogant a hole i ever saw, and hit so many 2 and 3 outers to win
hands it was just unreal. Shoulda been knocked out about 5 times. Guy
hits sets with his pocket pairs 4 times in a row. Just unreal luck,
and each time he won hands he would taunt people like a prick...
