Avoid GamesGrid Poker!

I have been patient with GamesGrid Poker but I think it's time to help others avoid the headaches.

For a while, GG had an outrageous bonus offer and that attracted a bunch of players. That bonus is no longer offered. So, so much for that.

IMHO, along with Poker Stars, GG has the nicest interface.

That's about all I can say on the plus side.

Somehow, the site has never attracted many players. At any given time there are 60 to 100 players. At off hours, there are even fewer. As a result, there are barely any tables to play at and you end up playing with the same people over and over again.

Mysteriously, their server cannot handle 60 to 100 players. Practically on a daily basis, there are intermittent server porblems. Sometimes, the problems are major. Right now [5pm eastern time, Thu March 9th] the server has gone completely nuts!

Heaven help you if the server problems cost you money at a ring game or tourney. Customer service has gone from so-so to practically non-existent. Moreover, ultimately, they will take no responsibility and you will be out whatever money you lost.

Sad really! The site looked promising but I would avoid it at all cots unless some major improvements are made to their setup.
