That was my main problem. He went a bit off and I reacted a little out of
line with respect to poker ettiquette. The problem was he was raising with
garbage hands all the time. I remember he raised with A-7 offsuit once and
I called with A-Q and an A came up. He got angry.
He'd raise with K-9 suited and I'd call with K-Q offsuit and a Q and a 9
came up and he got angry again. I still played decent poker since he was
very loose and I couldn't put him on a hand so I restricted my play to just
the premium hands and I'd run him over every time.
Only when he seriously lost it on that last hand did I react the way I did.
Believe me, I wanted to react a lot stronger much earlier in the game but
didn't want to get kicked out.
This wasn't some little micro blind game, this was some serious stuff. 5/10
games usually build pots of about $80-$100 at the casino I go to. With this
guy there, he was building them up to over $250.
