Seeing All Flops

It would probably astound you, but it is very possible to see about 90%
[or
more] of the flops in a very tough pot limit poker game and still beat
it.
First, if you believe this premise, you have to also believe the
majority of
the others things I have stated about my poker theory. I have stated I
am the
best player at my table every time I play. I have also stated I have
the
biggest stack of chips at the table when I play. Now let us get on with
how I
would do it.

Now before you people let your minds stray, I have stated I could do
this in
pot limit games of holdem, not no limit games. Quite a difference. I
also
prefer games with smaller blinds and larger stacks to enable you to be
able to
bet on the river. Bobby Hoff is another who likes this kind of game.
Not being
able to bet on the river, is a serious deterrent in pot limit. It also
helps
out the weaker players and the no limit player who can't adapt to the
concept
there is more to pot limit than just shoving all your chips into the
pot when
you feel you have the best of it or have a coin flip potential. This is
why
being able to make a large bet on the river is essential.

Sitting down at the table. Normally, no matter what the
circumstances, I
will be staking a person in all pot limits games I am playing. In many
cases
this person is a part of a scam. In many cases he is just there to
insure I get
the right type of position that I want in he game. This person is
usually one
of those who buys in for a minimum buy-in and plays super tight. A type
that
will play pot limit like a person may play no-limit, but with a small
stack.
His job detail would ensure that I get a favorable position at the
table
depending on where the bigger stacks lay. He would sit across from me.

I have told you before, I don't want a big stack directly to my left,
or have
small stacks directly to my right. By placing an individual into a
game, this
enables me to change seats to deal with the game accordingly.

Now onto the game. The first thing the opposition notices is I have the
largest
stack. Something far larger than what is needed. This warns all the
players
right off the bat, that one mistake is all they have to make and they
lose
their whole stack. Reality tells you that they are all aware of who I
am, since
I have been around for so long. Having knowledge of poker will also
tell you
that the person that wishes to cover all bets is, [at least in his
mind] the
one that feels he is the best player. For if the others felt the same,
they
would want to have just as big a stack in order to have enough to get
the
persons stack if an encounter should develope.

World Class Player is a term that is taken very lightly in these poker
magazines. I read about people being World Class Players, that never
play in
games above $10-$20 or seldom play in cash games. Many are stated as
being WCP
when they don't even play for a living. Tournament victories mean
absolutely
nothing to cash players. Tournament champions are the ones that usually
supply
the cash players with their money. To cash players, these guys are
jokes. You
have to realize how many tournaments there are these days. These are so
many
and any one that wins a dozen is suddenly a World Class Player. This is
such
flawed logic it borders on the insane. Just take an example of the fact
a cash
player playing in a $100-$200 game can average a SMALL bet an hour and
you can
see that he will make 200k a year and can get away claiming far less in
taxes,
besides the fact he doesn't have to go through the grind of traveling
around
and living in these motel and hotel rooms.

And we are talking about a dozen of these guys in Los Angeles alone.
Guys who
make $200,000 a year without breaking a sweat. Do you know who they
are? No,
you don't and they don't want you to know. However, the regulars who
play
everyday know who these players are. And I challenge the top dozen in
tournaments to show they can clear this much in tournaments on a yearly
basis
with a life style such as these players have. And these are not even
the best
in the game.

On to my playing the game. After getting the position I want, and
knowing the
stacks and the players position, I methodically work out my strategy to
beat
the game. Obviously the positions to avoid are the ones when I am in
the front
positions with absolute garbage. But, I call the opening bets in the
front
regardless of what I hold. It doesn't matter if it is AA or 7-2, I
proceed with
the same methodical approach.

Since I play a variation of this style day after day, people know what
to
expect from me and know the basic style I use. I let them dictate the
betting
when they have the position on me without any indication of the
strength I
possess in my hand. I basically let them hand themselves to me, by
letting them
take the lead when they have the position.

I try to exude an image that is contrary to an image one of your haha
'icons',
like to portray. I like to portray an image that it is impossible to
BLUFF ME.
Imagine getting this image into a persons head. Bluffing is a major
part of a
players arsenal of offensive pot limit weapons. Take it away from him
and see
where he stands. This is where I wrote my post about the "call bluff'.
Not
many people would be willing to stick a great amount of money into a
pot with
only their gut telling them the person is bluffing. Far fewer people
are going
to follow up after this person has called with absolutely nothing. The
great
majority of people that do, aren't bluffing. Thus, if you have the
proper feel
for the hand, that play will work fine.

Playing every hand in a tough pot limit game will enable you to have
position
quite a lot. It will also be a game where many people will try to
isolate you
or you try to isolate them. Let me tell you one rule of poker. No great
player
can spot a good player position in poker and expect to over come it.
However,
in the game we are talking about, I will be get position about as often
as I
give it.

To talk the talk, you must do the walk. I do this walk and talk this
talk. Play
with me some time and see how you would like it. Just the fact that the
hand
will be perfectly played and I am apt to have any cards at any time
will allow
me many freedoms in the games. I have already stated many times that I
am the
aggressor. Yes, that is true in heads up play, but in ring game play, I
tend to
play like the cat, trapping the mice. The obvious fact that I put the
most
chips on the table demonstrates that I fear no one. This fact alone is
backed
up by the part that no one cares to put more on the table than I.

Most pots in a game like this are played where they try to isolate me.
I am
prepared for this and adjust appropriately, willing to give a card for
free to
disguise my hand. This also enables me to control the size of the pots.
I may
give away a free card now and then, but the information I gain from it
along
with the allowance of controlling the betting enables me to dominate
this game.

Obviously if I didn't play every hand or was more selective it would be
worth
quite a bit more to me. On this I agree. I also do this when I play for
the
money. However, I was just trying to explain how I can play 90% of the
flops
and win in a game of WCP in pot limit holdem. When you are the "best of
the
best" it is easy to get away with much. At this time of my life. the
only
person that I see that could possibly give me any problem in Pot Limit
Holdem
is a player known as Tony Dee. Some of you may know him, some may not.
This I
will state, before you even consider playing me, play Tony Dee. If you
can beat
him, you may have a chance against me.

About 6 or 7 years ago, Tony was just learning. I beat him to death,
but he has
gotten far better in the later years. He is also a cheat
Those of you who question my ability can question Bobby Hoff. He is
stated as
being one of the best pot or no limit players in the world. Question
him about
me, and when we played heads up. I don't believe Bobby would lie.
Besides, he
has already told Razzo I am a great player. I also have this on record.
The
best poker players in the world are the ones you people have never
heard about.

We only want the money and don't want to bother with the internet or
other
things. The ones that need promotion and get paid for it are the ones
that lack
the skills. I do this [write about poker] because I don't care. I don't
need to
make money off this, because if I did, I could make quite a lot. Any
one
questioning my abilities or knowledge only has to know several top
players in
poker to find out who I am. I am the guy "who eats World Class Players
and
Tournament Champions for breakfast" and then wants to know who is there
for
dessert.

When I raise the blinds from the back positions when playing in ring
games, I
isolate most of the time. Basically it is you against the other guy.
The one
who reads the other player the best is going to win. I like to bet
after all
the cards are out. This way your largest bet comes when there is no
drawing
out. I also have the advantage of having the position of betting last.

I have talked about milking people previously in pot limit. Often your
opposition gets tired of calling and giving you money, thinking you are

"milking them". However, sticking in bluffs in situations like this are
also
beneficial. They think you are milking and thus fold after you have
done this
numerous times and have shown little, but the little you showed was
good. It
embarrass other players.

In conclusion, I will steal enough or will win enough in show down
situations.
When I have position and have the hands I want. I will punish the
opposition to
the full extent of his stack. As I have stated before, I WILL CONTROL
the
BETTING. You will be always making the decisive decisions. Is it 50-50?
Or am I
manipipulating you?
