That thread is greatness. My question is: Do you think the same
reasoning applies in today's game? I wasn't playing in 1999, but it
seems to me that people are very likely to try to get tricky on a hand
like that now. Aggression (even check-raising a check-raise) has been
preached and praised so much that even at the mid- and low-limits, a
person who plays solid for 4 hours is capable of a play I see as crazy.
