Ever run into someone you just could not beat? Ever feel like a player has
It happens to me every once in a while. Last night was one of those nights.
Had only played a few hands and got dealt the kiss of death: AA. I raise,
Mr. Unbeatable re-raises. I decide to just get cute and go all in. Mr.
Unbeatable thinks about it and then calls. He has A4 suited. Two 4s on the
flop and I'm reloading.
Next confrontation with Mr. Unbeatable, I have AQ and raise and he is only
caller. Flop is Q rag rag. I bet the pot and Mr. Unbeatable goes all in. Now
I feel good because I have top pair top kicker and Mr. Unbeatable has Q6os.
But a 6 comes on the river and I have to reload as Mr. Unbeatable types "ty
AA again. This time Mr. Unbeatable raises, I re-raise, blah blah blah all in
before the flop he has 87s and makes his straight for another $100 from me.
I reload one more time.
Final confrontation, I have 88 and no raising before the flop. Flop is 8 2 9
rainbow. I flopped a set and to make a long story short get all my money in
and Mr. Unbeatable has 99.
Yes sir, sometimes you'll run up against a player you just can't beat, no
matter what. Sometimes, he's got your number. I know it happens to everyone
from time to time. Not a damn thing you can do about it brother.
