Re: Contradictory info on how to play QJ offsuit in middle position

Assuming it's a limit game -

QJ is a drawing hand that doesn't make a great 1 pair when you hit and can get
picked off by A-rag or even KQ when you try to push the hand through.  It looks
good because it's 2 paint cards but the real value is from completing a straight
vs 2 big pair or hitting 2 pair vs TPTK.  This happens rarely to make it worth
while in limit.

Unless the guys at the table like Q-x suited or J-x suited, you won't make much
from this hand.  This is definitely one of them 'feel' hands.  Can you get Ace
high to laydown?  Can you get second pair to laydown?  Can you tell if your man
is betting with a draw and you raise him on the turn and fire on the river when
he misses?  You can't?  Then don't play this hand most of the time.
