Lots of you lower life forms do that. It's your way of trying to
maintain some tenuous connection with the outside world. It's
also a symptom of several different mental diseases, but since
you have so many of those, you'll never know which one.

I often think I am almost halfway to go to be a wit, but I
know I am flattering myself. However, I am to be commended
on my careful avoidance. Imagine how I might embarrassed
myself by pretending to understand Gerry's gibberish. I can't
even try to imagine why anybody would waste their time
pointing up how stupid what he said is.
