Worldwide I would imagine more people still use dial-up than broadband.
Typical usage might involve connecting, downloading e-mails,
disconnecting, composing replies then connecting again so that the replies
are uploaded. This would give a profile of several e-mails posted with
very close timestamps.

Fer fucks sake Nigel!

Ain't you got better things to do than attempt to make excuses for the
RGL Gremlin's 8,000 (+) annual troll-posts to hundreds of Usenet forums!

Sober up matey FFS, or I promise that you will be (just like the Gremlin) bolted to a ***-dribbling fucking commode!

BW..AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!

Actually you're partly right - I did have better things to do but I seem to be brain dead at the moment and awaiting inspiration. I even forgot to make my contribution towards the most profitable soccer club in the world's fitness club for its staff. Funny, I used to work for a piddly 15 person internet company and they arranged gym membership for employees - they didn't go crawling to one of the 14 unelected lottery quangos for a £30,000 'good causes' donation because they didn't know how to keep their staff fit. My numbers wouldn't have won anything so depending on which side you take in one of the current ping-pong threads I'm either no worse off or £1 richer.

On the other hand I might be wrong about Griffin having a dial-up line but other regulars do and their postings fit the profile. I was hoping to be informative but I'm so brain dead at the moment that's highly unlikely.
