I don't expect him to believe that. A shovelful is too small a
portion of the planet to be doubled. One scoop is such a tiny
fraction of Earth that it's practically zero. Two scoops, then,
make zero plus zero, which is still zero, so the second shovel
doesn't change anything...in Ricci physics. We know that zero is
twice as much as zero, but Jack doesn't.

I'm hoping that if we all work together with Jack, we can find
the smallest number that can be doubled. We can call it "Ricci's
Constant" and he can be famous and immortalized like Avagodro.
