'The Gamblers Fallacy' appears to have changed somewhat in the past few years.
Originally it was along the lines of "we haven't had a seven for a while so
one must be overdue", and according to what evidence I have, that is way too
simplistic.

Nowadays 'The Gamblers Fallacy' appears to encompass anything which implies
better prediction of random events than a priori probability. I don't think
there is any memory inherent in the hardware (eg dice) as such because
lotteries routinely change their machines and ballsets.
