I turned on the car radio on my way to the pharmacy and the first song I heard,
after I changed to another radio station, was "Mixed Emotions" by The Rolling
Stones!

There is an old radio station broadcast mixing board in a store window in town,
and I'm sure I see two red buttons on it for the EBS tone. The buttons have a
marking next to them that says "HOLD DOWN FOR 15 SECONDS". So, do radio DJ's
pick WHEN they beep those tones over the air, and can they do it whenever they
feel like it? Or do the radio DJ's have to get a verbal notice from "Central
Command" (wherever that is?) before they can push the button to sound an
"Emergency Broadcast Tone"? If "Central Command" decides when a DJ will push the
button, who tells "Central Command" to tell the DJ's to push the buttons?

For VP, I'd write down my strategy on a little 3 x 5 index card in very small
print, or type it up in Word and print a miniaturized version of it, then put
mailing tape around it for lamination and water-resistance. Sweaty hands, dewy
beers, dirty coins...gotta keep the cheat-sheets in good condition.
