South Canada visits the Cajun - Day 2

LOL!
George thinks it funny that I've taken a picture of everything he's put
in front of me so far. Last night's gumbo was delicious and, contrary
to what he might say, I did NOT eat three gallons of it! I did not wish
to insult my host by appearing to be a picky eater. <cough>
Jorge's introduced me to something else that I haven't seen in South
Canada -- *canned* sausage gravy made by the Campbell's folks. I
believe my suitcase will contain several cans of it -- my SIL likes it,
as do I. I noticed George with a scrap of paper and pencil at table
this morning, ticking off the number of servings of it I had. "-)
Soon, I think, we'll head to the Lake Charles airport to pick up my
suitcase. Traffic out of IAH yesterday was hosed up some due to weather
and my bag and I came here on different airplanes.
I had an interesting experience in the sky between MSP and IAH: I
waited outside the door to los baños for a vacancy and when a young
blonde woman exited one, I opened the door to enter --- and encountered
a young man. Imagine that! Quarters are so tight in those that I
can't imagine two people in one unless one was on top of the other one.
.. . . 'ppears that The Mile High Club gained two more members
yesterday. <grin>
Not sure when I'll get pictures posted. One of George's neighbors is
giving me free wi-fi access, unbeknownst to him.
It's good to be me, Friends.
