How/where do you cook meat?

Different ways, always outside close to entrance. I have a table
on which to put induction or coil burner, and the new grill (which
also includes a smoker not yet used) DH purchased is very close
by.

Sometimes, and only sometimes, can meat be re-heated inside in the
oven with other edibles, but not enough to create much of a mess or
smell.

I'm sure I have many other ways outside, including large cuisinart
electric skillet/frypan; slower cooker.
Must be more :-))

I understand, but I don't think I'm as extreme as you are. I will
not brown or fry meat inside, so I do that in some portable appliance
outside or on the grill. However, I will roast meat in the oven or
cook a pot roast or stew in the house after I've browned the meat
outside.

Mostly I want to prevent grease vapor in the house.

Same here because of grease vapor, which I don't care for it going
thru the air system. The 'odor' of red meat makes me nauseous, No
one can remember me ever being otherwise even when I was a wee one.
Luckily no one ever forced me to eat what I didn't want ;-))

Fish is the exception to me, and I have no trouble at all accepting it
into the kitchen, although frying is not ever my preference, so I have
no problem with that.

On that we are just the opposite. I actually enjoy smelling all kinds
of red meat cooking except for game. OTOH, the only things that swim
that I can tolerate in the house are shrimp, crab, and lobster.
Although, I do enjoy ordering various fish in restaurants. I find that
when cooking fish in the house, the odor pervades literally
everything.

The thing that smells up my house the worst is potato pancakes. The
aroma lingers for days.

I can well imagine. That's why I *never* fry anything in the house. I use
1 or 2 electric skillets or the side burner on my gas grill. Everything is
fried outside, then brought in.
