Thanks for asking. We just ate the last of the leftovers of the beef stew I made from half the roast. I froze the other half. I can always find something to do with chuck, so if I just think of this as just another chunk of chuck, I'm good to go. Maybe pot roast next time.
(Onions, garlic, shallots, potatoes, carrots, a smidge of rosemary, a tiny spoon of pomegranate jelly (the recipe I was looking at wanted blackcurrant jam; I don't usually put anything sweet in stew, but I thought what the hell. I won't do it again, not that it came out badly), a little bacon grease for sauteeing the onions, and the rest of the marsala because I think we've all gotten tired of tiramisu, if you can imagine it.)
