Sounds fair about the rebuttal against helping her - unfortunately, it's girls (and boys) like that, that have helped to diminish some really basic concepts in society. Like being courteous - it's just as likely to bite you in the ass as be acceptable. As for the false accusations, why not just charge them for wasting the police's time.

The people involved in the rape accusations should have also been able to sue the women's support groups for improper advisory, and the cops for false arrest. That'd quite nicely snip it in the bud - since then the public gets to tell the support group where to shove it.
