We don't buy many frozen foods. Our freezer usually isn't even half
full, and it's a small one. But there are some things that, when we do
buy them, we like them. Potstickers, O'Brien potatoes, puff pastry...
When I had a microwave, I also used to buy a bunch of Michelina's
spaghetti, because it was the only pre-fab pasta I tended to like.
We also don't buy many frozen foods. I have alreayd mentioned the TJ's
made-in-Italy frozen pizzas being worthwhile. We will also have a
few veggie sandwich patties in the freezer: either Praeger's California
Burger (at a lowly 5 g or protein per unit), or Boca Chicken-less
patties (at a more notable 11 g protein, and my favorite in
terms of flavor/texture), or Morning Star "Grillers Vegan"
which max out at 12 g protein per pattie.
TJ's Meatless balls are commonly up there as well.
A lot of what else's stored in our freezer at any given time may be:
frozen vegetable stock; frozen vegetable scraps which have not
yet been made into stock; and peak season Dirty Girl early girl
tomatoes in a few forms: whole, smashed into sauce, or roasted
and smashed into sauce. I pulled down one of the latter
yesterday, with a plan of making a pasta sauce, using some
Fatted Calf Italian sausage I picked up today in Napa (prior
to dining at Ubuntu -- recommended; and walking in with no res was
no problem -- and then seeing the Whaling Jenny's at the Napa
Opera House.
(And somewhere in there we stopped at Hog Island and had some
Washington State oysters.)
Life has been reasonably good.
This has drifted a bit from "what's in your freezer", but deal.
