I've seen that a few times, too, it looks so refreshing.

Yes! Simple and delicious too. I'm going to add some of the
modifications I ran across on the web search. Capers being one of them.

New camera woes:

Chose it, bought it, (Nikon Coolpix L19), got it home, opened the
(taped) box (the tape will now be my first hint) and it turned out to
be a return with rip-off! They are supposed to check the darned boxes
when someone returns something! The only things in the box was a
camera and the manuals. No cable, no software, nada!

That stinks. I've been burned too, I try never to buy the 'taped box' ...
people just don't care.

Yeah. I'm still learning!

I told them I understood as Wal-mart was bad about checking returns
too. I bought a nice little 2 burner hot plate at Wal-mart a couple
of years or so ago. It was all nicely wrapped in original packaging,
plastic bag and all, but there was a ring of burnt on beans around
one of the burners! I was pissed. Too tired to return it (and I
needed it to cook dinner), I called them and bitched them out about
it, cleaned the damned thing and kept it. It's very nice and I still
have and use it, but still!

That's high on the gross factor scale. Yuck!

It was indeed. Talk about no class whatsoever! That was just crass.

the pics off the camera using his system and transfer them directly
to the flash drive. Only problem is, my flash drive is only 2 gigs.
The camera card holds 8 gigs... But, flash drives have gotten pretty
cheap and I could always pick up a bigger one.

Thanks for reminding me, I need to back up my pictures. I just
have a little flash drive too, it holds a ton of pictures. I was really
happy I had them saved after my virus fiasco. Grrr.

I understand.

Good luck with your camera.

Thanks! :-)
