Maybe, but perhaps not. A co-worker went through this 6 months ago and had
almost no pain at all. I'm going to the same dentist.

I like your attitude. I'm basically a chicken when it comes to tooth
extraction. I opted not to have my wisdom teeth taken out because
there was a tiny chance of permanent numbness in my lip. With my kind
of luck, I'd be part of the percentage it happened to. I've had no
problems leaving them alone.

I never developed wisdom teeth (does that mean I'm stupid? - Don't answer
that! :-) It's probably a good thing to leave well enough alone unless
they were bothering you.

My grandfather had dentures at an early age. Then, when he was nearly 70
years old, he began cutting his wisdom teeth!
