I had dreams of making a declicious Italiam sandwich with onions,
lettuce and tomato; I also had plain boiled-ham to add.
But the packaged meat is so salty - it gives you a jolt when you taste
it - akin to anchovies.
I don't understand how you can eat and enjoy this. Is there an
effective way of soaking out the salt?
Take it back to the store. What better way to let Walmart know they sell
shitty products?
This is Mexico. They don't know what to do when you bring something
back. Refunds and returns are relatively unheard of. It's slowly
changing, though.
OFF topic example....
I bought a defective battery at Auto Zone. It kept losing its
charge, and when I took it back, all they would do is re-charge it.
They refused to exchange it, but I let them re-charge it on two
occasions. Then I told the manager that I was going to call my credit
card company and dispute the charge.
Then she exchanged the battery.
Too much nonsense and bother.
