Better yet, why not just use the killfile? It's very effective and
one doesn't have to get themselves all lathered up when the
netkkoping fails, which it almost always does. Just ask Loafhead.

Although I think you are mostly right, I am loathe to advise people
not to try to clean up this newsgroup.

Clean up this newsgroup? If you mean clean it up to be a strictly on
topic newsgroup it will never happen. If you mean trying to censor
people you don't care for, I *hope* it doesn't happen. My feelings on
censorship are well known. I still believe the killfile is the best
offense AND defense one has available to them on Usenet.

Yep, if folx have such delicate sensibilities there are *plenty* of
listservs and message boards and such, all moderated with the heaviest of
hands...no flaming or swear words or anything "off-topic" allowed. I
participate in a bunch of them, they are just fine for what they are.
Usenet, it's unmoderated, and that's the beauty of it...

And, last time Sheldon lost his access, apparently due to TOS
violations, *way* back in February, he seemed to clean up his act for
several days.

Does anyone know for a verifiable *fact* that Sheldon lost his account
due to TOS violations? For all I know he might have been harassed in RL
by one of his detractors, cancelled his account and had Google nuke
everything posted by him.

And losing his access will be more serious this time, because it isn't
just a throwaway account, it's his whole ISP access.

I was sick to death of netkkops waaaayyyy back in the 80s. My feelings
haven't changed. Most people abhor that type of thing.

Yep...netKKKopping is a LUSER's game, those who engage in it will *always*
have their bad karma boomeranged back to them - *eventually*.

NetKKKopping is *snitching*, pure and simple...and we all know what fate
eventually befalls snitches, don't we...???
