OT: Taking your medicine: Vitamins

I've began supplementing my calcium (+ vitamin D) to hasten the healing of my
broken leg.

Darned problem is they're nickel sized and twice as thick.

I gag swallowing each pill (uncoated).

Frustrates the heck out of me. I try different juices but it doesn't matter.
I'm half tempted to exchange them, after 5 tablets worth.

How good are you at taking your vitamins?

Andy

I use the chewables or Viactive, which are sort of like eating candy
bonbons (how good is that?)

The other large vitamins, I place on my tongue pointing either to the
front or back of my mouth, and chug with water or juice.

My Mom, who is 95 and partially paralyzed from a stroke, now has her
vitamins ground to powder in the mortar and mixed with yogurt or
applesauce. I recommend high levels of cinnamon as well to help deal
with the taste. (Cinnamon is also supposed to be good for regulating
blood sugar or blood pressure, I forget which).
