I've successfully Atkins dieted but I don't need to lose weight. I'm
maintaining at 190 lbs. High blood pressure and cholesterol are a bigger
concern.
Sure, my meals would sadden most foodies!

Atkins dieting will lower your cholesterol, and especially your
triglycerides babe. At least it does for _me_. YMMV as always!
Consume enough calories on a low carb regimen and you can maintain your
weight.
I just avoid starch and sugar for the most part except for the
occasional treat.
