There is a product sold in Mexico called "Controy" It's a Cointreau knock-off and really good. Much better than triple sec. Here in Borderland the basic ingredients are Tequila, Controy and fresh key lime juice (Key limes come from Mexico, the Florida Keys don't produce enough for retail) The proportions vary by who's making the drinks. Frozen Margaritas are not even considered by true margarita lovers around here.

I like to add some Grand Marnier to mine, too.
